Temples take the forefront in the latest clip
One incredibly interesting aspect of Capcom’s upcoming Onimusha: Way of the Sword is its adherence to real-world locations. Adapting these has been a challenge, obviously, as the publisher wants to remain true to the history and realism while at the same time adding in some wild supernatural aspects for players to take on and explore.
The latest to be given some light is Yasui Konpiragu Shrine, with Capcom releasing a new trailer that details some of what players will find when they dive into the famed location. In the clip we see the temple and area, as well as a boss fight against Rashogan. It all looks mighty intense, and definitely something that will keep our eyes glued to the screen in more ways than one.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword has been bumped ahead in release for September 4, 2026 across PS5, Switch 2, Xbox and PC.
