Extended Look on Netflix and YouTube on August 27
Well, we finally know when the next big trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI will drop, and it’s essentially become an event.
Rockstar Games has announced that the blowout will take place on Netflix on August 27 at 3PM ET and followed by their YouTube channel at 9PM ET. It’s just a 6-hour difference, but one that Netflix hopes may be big enough to warrant a few more folks signing up for its service. It’s an interesting push by the streamer, as its gaming stuff has been all over the place up until now. This could signal the start of something more purposeful, if future events become simulcast here.
Or, you know, you can just watch someone post a linked stream on Twitch about 6 seconds after Netflix goes live.
Grand Theft Auto 6 seconds, that is.
The game arrives on November 19, 2026.
