Random Battle: Two Guys from Andromeda Interview

Two Guys from Andromeda Interview

Tangent podcasts are tangent. The Random Battles are short mini-shows that will show up in your feed as we discuss one topic at a time. Yes, the do fit into the continuity of the SideQuest.

The Two Guys from Andromeda, creators of the classic Space Quest series of adventure games, have reunited to bring the world a brand new SpaceVenture. We’ve mentioned before why we think you should support their new project on Kickstarter, but today we bring you their own take on the project.

We are proud to bring you this interview with Scott Murphy and Mark Crowe, two guys who are very passionate about what they do. Scott and Mark were nice enough to tell me about how they got started, how excited they were to get Gary Owens as their announcer for Space Quest IV and VI, their plans for the new project and so much more.

Battle Party:

Jonah Gregory (Lvl 1, 1/3), Mark Crowe (Lvl 1, 1/3), Scott Murphy (Lvl 1, 1/3)

How does scoring take place and what does it mean?

For completing a Random Battle, the party member gains XP. For every 3 battles, the player levels up. At the end of the season, the highest-level player gets a SideQuesting surprise gift. The XP then resets at the beginning of the next season.
