SideQuesting’s Nintendo 3DS 3D Photo Contest

Now that many of you have picked up your shiny new Nintendo 3DSes, we’ve decided to host a 3D photography contest to celebrate!  We’re happily collaborating on this contest with our friends at 3Dporch, which will handle the hosting of your images.

Trust us, it’s as simple as it gets.  Take a cool photo of something in 3D on your 3DS. Grab the image from your SD card.  Upload it to 3Dporch. Email us the link (or post it in the comments here).

We’re looking for cool photos that really show off the 3D.  It can be an action shot, still life, or even use the AR cards for some of the augmented reality effects.

The winner gets their selected photo recreated in red/cyan and printed on a 256-piece puzzle, with a collectible tin to hold the pieces.  We’ll even send along a pair of 3D glasses to view your masterpiece.  One we get a few entries, we’ll start a gallery and post the images there.  The winner will be chosen by the staff of SideQuesting and 3Dporch based on creativity and 3D effect.
