EA announced the new project currently being worked on by Burnout and Need For Speed developers Criterion Games. The as of yet untitled game appears to be a first-person racing game that takes you across a variety of terrain and vehicle types, such as quads, snowmobiles and helicopters. The game is reportedly in the prototype stage.
