E3: Original Xbox added to Backwards Compatibility on Xbox One

We can finally play Kameo again!

At its E3 press briefing, Microsoft announced that the original Xbox console will be added to Backwards Compatibility on the Xbox One. This means that games like Crimson Skies and Perfect Dark will be playable on the current generation of devices, should you still have those disks lying around.

What’s more, the update allows for friends to play together across all three generations of Xbox: Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. That’s just in case you haven’t bought a console since 2003.

More news and release about Backwards Compatibility coming later this year.
