Trailer Friday: Spider-Man, Bumblebee, Halloween lead a thrilling slate of films

How do you top Infinity War, Black Panther and Spider-Man? Well, another Spider-Man film… but a VERY DIFFERENT Spider-Man film.

It’s a big week for trailers from well-known properties. The latest Marvel/Sony collaboration, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, finally brings us Miles Morales. The film looks to push what we know about comic book movies, as not just one Spider-Man, but several make their appearance in the absolutely stunning animated movie. Look for it December 18.

Meanwhile, the Transformers are back… sort of. The first trailer for the Bumblebee prequel film, Bumblebee, is here, and it stars not only the car, but the 1980s VW Bug version of the yellow robot hero! The film releases December 21.

Finally, Halloween has been in need of a reboot, so this fresh take might just do it. The film essentially deletes all of the previous sequels, bouncing right off of the first film in the series. It even stars Jamie Lee Curtis! Halloween arrives October 19.

Finally, for something a little more light-hearted, Wreck-It-Ralph 2‘s new trailer is here, and it shows us… Disney Princesses getting violent? Hmm. Maybe our weekend is getting off to a strange start?
