Suddenly people remember VR again
You had us at Half-Life. Valve has finally given us the full reveal of its next giant single-player game, Half-Life: Alyx. Taking place between Half-Life 1 and 2, the game will star Alyx Vance as she navigates the world to protect it from the alien menace known as The Combine.
The game will be exclusive to VR, and compatible with several PC-based headsets. Owners of Valve’s own Index headset will get the game for free.
Half-Life: Alyx will launch in March 2020. The game will receive a special look at this year’s Game Awards show, and Geoff Keighley is producing a “Final Hours Of…” feature on the game as well.
