You just kinda want to throw away the one you already have after seeing this one
Much like it typically does for big game releases, Nintendo has revealed that it’s releasing a themed Switch to coincide with the launch of the upcoming Animal Crossing: New Horizons game.
And it’s freaking gorgeous.
Using a mix of pastel hues to show Tom Nook and fam on an island set on a cream dock, the console celebrates the game with the most unique Switch yet. The console itself may still be black, but the back is etched with an Animal Crossing pattern. The Joy-Cons are also adorned in the blue and cyan colors, and they even feature cream colored strap attachments.
The console actually doesn’t come with the game, neither digitally nor physically, which may seem a little bonkers given that most people are buying it for the game itself. The console launches on March 13 for the regular $300 price, and available the same day will be a similarly themed carrying case.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons arrives March 20.
