The next Super Smash Bros Ultimate fighter is from ARMS

ARMS you glad you found out?

While we didn’t get a name, Nintendo did reveal that the next fighter joining Super Smash Bros Ultimate will be from its modern fighting/boxing series, ARMS.

The Spring 2017-launched game features 15 different fighters, each with extendable appendages and shields. It never really grabbed a big hold on fighting fans who were anxious for Smash Bros to arrive, but now the two IPs shall meet in a bigger way. ARMS‘ Spring Man is already an assist trophy in the game, and fighters Spring Man, Ribbon Girl, Twinelle, Min Min and Ninjara appear as Spirits.

The fighter will arrive by the end of June.

To celebrate the news, Nintendo is letting its Switch Online owners have a taste of the game as it becomes available for free for subscribers from March 26 – April 6 in a free game trial.
