Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 getting remake treatment

Kick-flipping later in 2020

What’s old is new again… and again and again (and again). I used to absolutely love playing the original “Tony Hawk” game back in 1999, and its sequel the year later. Gosh, I remember playing Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro too. Activision is happily mining that era with its annual remake blitz, this time focusing on said skating games.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 is a remake of the original Tony Hawk games — the first of which was actually remade in 2012 for the Xbox 360/PS3, actually, but who remembers that decade? — and combines both with snappy new visuals and features.

The game will bring together all of the levels and skaters from the first two games, along with the Create-a-Park mode from THPS 5 and Create-a-Skater.

Developed by Vicarious Visions, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 will arrive on September 4 for PS4, Xbox One, and Epic Games Store.
