Taking over the skies in October
EA’s latest TIE Fighting, X-Winging, dogfighting game has been officially revealed. Star Wars: Squadrons is a starfighter-based aerial (space) combat game that pits the Rebellion agains the Empire in battle. The game will have a heavy focus on multiplayer, but feature a single-player campaign component as well.
Squadrons puts teams of 5 fighters together to battle opponents in dogfights across known and new locations, alongside a series of multiplayer modes and in several ships from the series. Players can even modify their ships, individualizing them further with things like diverting power mid-combat.
The game will even be playable in VR on PSVR and PC, and feature cross-play. Star Wars: Squadrons arrives on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 2, 2020.
