Grab the Powdered Toast, it’s officially a party
I was just beginning my teenage years when Ren & Stimpy hit the small screen on Nickelodeon, and the show firmly became a staple of my weekly watching. I loved the reruns, and lived for new episodes. I bought the video games and enjoyed how the series pushed up against the Simpsons with a completely different style of humor. It was very adult, looking back now, and the writing still works.
Though they’ve popped in and out of Nick and Nick-related games over the years, their just-announced inclusion into the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl game may be the perfect return to form that the duo needed.
The pair will come packaged as one selectable fighter, and much like Ice Climbers or Banjo & Kazooie in Super Smash Bros Ultimate they’ll bounce around and work together in their moveset. From the introductory trailer it’s evident that iconic details from the show will make their way in, like Log and the butt-bumps.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will land on consoles this year. More awesome details can be found on the PlayStation Blog.
