Bethesda sunsetting Bethesda.net Launcher, move to Steam

Bethesda has announced that it will begin to sundown and retire the company’s proprietary launcher, the Bethesda.net Launcher, starting in early April of this year.

Current Bethesda.net Launcher users will be given the option to migrate their purchases (both games and virtual currency) from the existing launcher over to Steam. Bethesda is also urging current users of the launcher to start the process of migrating their content over to Steam as soon as possible, as that content will be unavailable starting in May.

This move doesn’t mean the end of Bethesda.net and it’s first-party login information, though, as some games that currently require the account in-game will still require it after the move, such as Fallout 76.
