It looks kind of really awesome?
Way back in the day, there were announcements of development of a trilogy of sci-fi films based on Tetris. Cool! Not really, actually. Thankfully, the films haven’t seen the light of development day yet, and instead we’re being treated with a biopic of the absolutely wild, secretive, nearly violent history of how Tetris became a thing.
Alexey Pajitnov’s project changed the world of video games, and in turn potentially led to an international incident… or three. Anyhoo, this is actually the first movie featuring Nintendo to come out this year, ahead of the Super Mario Bros movie, but one that’s definitely not a family flick. Tetris lands on AppleTV+ on March 31st.
