Time for a SONG and a dance with Nintendo’s next Direct
Just a week after its last one, Nintendo has announced ANOTHER Direct! An INDIEWORLD Direct!
No, Silksong won’t be on it lol

What we MIGHT get, though, is Hades II and Yooka-Replaylee and Mina the Hollower updates, both of which are supposed to land on Switches this year.
Taking palce on Thursday, August 7 at 9AM ET/6AM PT, the event will focus on all manner of indies, but with a running time of about 15 minutes it may not be a chonky one — though Japan will get an extra 5 minutes for some reason.
What we want isn’t just known games, but new game announcements. Weird game announcements. Game announcements that have us saying “what the heck kind of game is this, but also I want to play it ASAP.” We also want UFO 50 and Blue Prince, so I’m definitely doing a summoning circle for those two.
