It’s happening. It’s actually happening. Nintendo has formally announced a Nintendo Direct for this coming Friday, September 12. It’s been MONTHS since a proper BIG DIRECT (the last being the Switch 2 reveal in April and the admittedly awesome Switch 1 Direct the week before that). Nintendo is telling us to plan for 60 minutes, which would tie it for the longest alongside the Switch 2 info earlier this year.
Switch 1 and 2 games will be the focus, so expect more info on Tomodachi Life, Rhythm Heaven, Metroid Prime 4, Hyrule Warriors, Splatoon and whatever the company is going to tease for 2026.
