Digimon makes a case for monsters in and out of our pockets
The latest Digimon Story game is getting great reviews, and has certainly spurred some online battles between monster-catching franchises. To celebrate the launch of Time Stranger, Bandai Namco and animation studio Media.Vision have released “Prelude”, a 4-minute short based in the game’s world. Starring hero Inori and her younger brother, the short takes place just before the events of the game, and should serve as a nice jumping-in point for folks new to the series.
And the soundtrack is great!
