During today’s Pokemon Presents, the developer (finally) revealed the tenth generation of Pokemon: Winds and Waves.
The game(s) finally push Pokemon into a new console generation, as they will be firmly planted on the Switch 2 — Original Switch owners will have to watch from the sidelines. Set across an island region, the games will take players into whole new watery domains, and focus on Pokemon that obviously make a few bubbles in the water.
Revealed in the trailer were the game’s ABSOLUTE CHONKY LITTLE STARTER MONSTERS. Hell yeah.
The angry chicken BROWT.
The floofy pomeranian POMBON.
The sly gecko GECQUA.
Unfortunately, fans won’t be getting the game this year — Pokemon Winds and Waves is due for the Switch 2 in 2027. Start saving those pennies.
