Silent Hill 2026 is not a team sport this year
Silent Hill was gone for a long time and now we’ve gotten a new game in the series for the last 3 years in a row with more on the way. That’s okay! They’re pretty good games!
Silent Hill: Townfall was one of the many games announced years ago, and now we finally have some updates about it. First and foremost: it stars a new protagonist named Simon Ordell who has to melee and shoot his way around a British town named St. Amelia as weird shit is happening. Simon uses something called a CRTV, his version of the Silent Hill radio that looks a lot like a Game Boy, to help him solve puzzles around the environment.
Developed by Scotish studio Screen Burn (formerly No Code) and Annapurna, it was originally announced as the kickoff of an anthology in the Silent Hill universe, but we’ll see if that still holds true.
Silent Hill: Townfall will arrive this year on PlayStation 5 and PC.
