Imagine picking your nose all day, and also in a video game!
Nintendo sure does like its weird projects. From jump rope games on Switch to Mario and Yoshi apps, the company will pump out smaller projects next to its larger ones seemingly for no reason whatsoever. That happened again, today, when the Japanese developer announced Pictonico!, a mobile app that will let players engage with their photos in a series of minigames.
Players will take on mini challenges, try to clear series of stages, build up coins and even unlock daily fortunes — all while using their on-device photos (or take news ones instead).

It’ll initially land as a free app with three minigames, and the ability to purchase more stes (up to 80 games total) for a fee.
The app certainly looks a lot like Warioware, and could very easily have made its way onto the Switch 2 (it now has a camera, duh!) but Nintendo opted to drop it on mobile phones instead. Or it will, on May 28, when it launches on iOS and Android.
