We are maybe (finally) so back, baby.
Usually around this time of year we see presentations from all three of the big platform holders, tons of studios, and a bajillion developers. We’ve already got Xbox locked in, and now Sony is officially having its own showcase. Or State of Play, rather.
The company has announced the event will take place Tuesday, June 2, just a few days before Summer Game Fest, and will feature an hour of new games, updates, announcements and more. The showcase will include Marvel’s Wolverine as a centerpiece, but will also likely touch on Marvel Tokon and the God of War Trilogy remake, among other games.
Interestingly enough, the event looks like it’ll be a big one for the platform holder as it has booked Alamo Drafthouse locations around the US to host live screenings. Fans can head over to https://drafthouse.com/event/free-fan-event-sony-state-of-play to see if their local venue will be hosting.
It all happens on Tuesday, June 2 at 2:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM ET / 11:00 PM CEST and June 3 at 6:00 AM JST on YouTube and Twitch.
