Recurring Dream unleashes a game that has to be experienced to be believed.
Recurring Dream’s latest game mixes elements of horror, paranoia, and detective-work, all built around an intriguing premise.
Desktop Explorer looks to tell a psychological horror story filled to the brim with puzzles all while emulating the classic Windows 95/98 desktop experience. It eventually has us spill that experience over into notepads and pencils, where I found is a natural extension of how we solve these kinds of puzzles.
Although it’s not likely to be viewed has the scariest game of all time, it hits the vibe it’s trying to set perfectly, and I found it was worth every second that I spent with it.
