Need For Speed: The Run tells the story of a man racing across the country; from San Francisco to New York City. For the first time in the Need For Speed series, players will be involved in actions outside of their vehicle. Being demoed on a PlayStation 3, the scenes looked a bit like Heavy Rain.
Full of quick-time events, the demo showed the character leaping over rooftops and kicking out windows to avoid a train. I guess this is what happens when a NFS game merges with Heavy Rain.
The Run will also feature the ‘Autolog’ that was introduced in the previous game in the series. Integrated into the story mode this time around, I can’t wait to best my friend’s times once again.
