Sony reveals the Nike PG 2.5 x PlayStation colorway

The original PG (Paul George) shoes that Nike produced last year were a fantastic design, and now Nike is back with an updated version.

Well, maybe updated is a stretch — it’s actually more of a classic edition. As George reveals in a post on the PlayStation Blog, his love of gaming influenced his first pair of shoes for the brand, and as an homage to the legacy of the original PlayStation he opted to go back in a time with this next colorway.

The PG 2.5 features a Wolf Grey color, comprised of patent-leather and mesh, as well as a blue-gray tinted sole. The Playstation button icons are used as a pattern throughout the shoe, and the lace eyelets are colored to match the original console buttons. The tongue lights up in color on both sides, as well.

The shoes are hot. HOT HOT H-O-T. Preorders begin December 1 on Nike’s SNKRS app.

Good luck, and god speed trying to grab a pair when it goes live.
