The great Ghostbusters game is getting remastered

I ain’t afraid of a good remaster

Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered is coming to modern gaming devices later this year, Sabre Interactive and Mad Dog Games revealed. The original game came out in 2009 to general praise, serving as a pseudo sequel to the films, and with a new Ghostbusters film in the works it feels like the perfect time to bring the Ecto-1 back around again.

Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, and Ernie Hudson all reprise their roles in the game, which will include improved textures, cut scenes and more. The original Wii version had motion controls, but it doesn’t look like those will translate over.

Expect the game to spook out PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC (via Epic Games Store) later this year.
