Make a lot of things RED as the first Shinobi assassin
Up until today, the next Assassin’s Creed was codenamed RED. Now that codename drifts away, as Ubisoft officially reveals Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
The game will take the familiar jumping and hiding and stabbing of the AssCreed series but shift it to feudal Japan. Players will control dual protagonists: Naoe, a shinobi assassin, and Yasuke, a powerful samurai. The plot will balance the pair and their skills, from stealth to battle, as they aim to build a network of spies — and apparently a sweet shinobi hangout.
The first trailer, a cinematic, was revealed today.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will drop on November 15 for XBox Series, PS5, and PC.
