Reliving a classic
Whenever Panic Button is behind a project, two things are for certain: 1) It’ll be a fantastic port, and 2) it’s a fantastic game to begin with. That looks like it’s happening again, as the developer has revealed that it is porting Runic Games’ Torchlight II to consoles.
The classic dungeon crawler Torchlight, released back in 2009, was designed to fill the hole while we waited for Diablo III. It did so well, that three years later a sequel was released that pushed the game in new directions and made significant improvements, becoming its own game in the process.
Published by Perfect World Entertainment, Torchlight II arrives on PS4, Xbox One and Switch on September 3, 2019.
