Tokyo RPG Factory’s newest game is another throwback to nostalgia
Oninaki certainly looks like a PS1 JRPG, which is what we assume Tokyo RPG Factory, the developers of the game, are going for.
The game features a character named Kagachi who must help usher lost souls into the afterlife — until he meets a mysterious girl named Linne, setting his world spinning and forcing him to take on the world’s evils. Kagachi can harness the power of various Daemons as he battles enemies, much like mini summons in classic role playing games.
Oninaki is now available from Square Enix for PS4, Switch and PC.
