Humanity goes far, but still carries its ghosts
The Expanse, possibly one of the greatest sci-fi shows in TV history, is about to kick off its fourth season, and first on Amazon Prime. It celebrated that fact by dropping the newest full-length trailer for the season at NYCC this weekend.
The trailer, which features JFK’s famous speech about space exploration, points to man’s push into the unknown. This season especially will epitomize that push, as humanity has just discovered a massive series of faster-than-light travel points to numerous new planets, thanks to alien technology. Will humanity (Earth, Mars and the Belt) treat these new planets fairly, or revert to old, colonizing and hostile ways?
The Expanse returns December 13 exclusively on Amazon Prime.
