Cyberpunk 2077 delayed until November

Delayed again (and again)

It’s hard to say that we didn’t see this coming. Cyberpunk 2077, the biggest game that CD Projekt RED have ever worked on and the biggest RPG coming to current gen consoles, has been delayed. Originally planned to release in… I don’t know, 2014? 2015? It was most recently going to launch in April before being pushed into September 17.

Now, the new date is November 19, 2020.

We’re not saying that the game’s new date has anything to do with the launch of Next Gen consoles, but around that week is when many of us believe that the PS5 and Xbox SEX will be hitting the streets. Surely you wouldn’t launch a game for current gen *after* the next gen consoles release. More likely, the game may be launching alongside the next Xbox, thanks to the heavy cross-promotion the companies have been doing recently, and after the PS5.

Well, at least September is opening up for Marvel’s Avengers.
