Devolver Digital’s upcoming Shadow Warrior 3 doesn’t just look bonkers, it actually looks… fun? The first gameplay trailer, titled “Way to Motoko,” shows off a little of what the game will play like.
An FPS at heart, players will have to shoot shoot shoot, while at the same time utilizing some parkour-like skills as they leap across the environment, utilizing an arm-based hookshot as well. Taking down demons requires not only shooting their horns off, but also often ripping them apart limb-to-limb with melee and quicktime attacks.
Shadow Warrior 3 is in development by Flying Wild Hog with a 2021 release date on PC.
