Mondays need to be deleted
Tomorrow, Monday the 18th, is going to be especially rough for me. My beloved Detroit Pistons got clobbered in Game 7 of the NBA’s Eastern Conference Semifinals. It’s a crappy thud ending to an otherwsie stellar season. And I have to live it at the office tomorrow. Ugh.
Garfield knows this. Garfield has always known this. And now Garfield’s newest game will reiterate this even more. Garfield: Escape from Monday is the cat’s next project from developer OSome Studio & publisher Microids. In the game, Garfield has been tricked by John to eat a spinach-based pizza, which sends him into a nightmarish world filled with vegetables.
It’ll be a fully 3D game with both platforming and sidescrolling action. It looks like it’s using a lite animation style commonplace in children’s IP-based games, with a cell-shaded tinge. Garfield will bounce, climb and leap around, and use some type of costume or ability system to mix things up. These are dreams, but the way.
Anyhoo, screw Mondays. Garfield knows what’s up.
The game launches September 24 on Steam, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch.
