The Xbox Series and PS5 versions of Marvel’s Avengers is delayed

The big Marvel game now scheduled for some point in 2021

Crystal Dynamics is having a little bit of a difficult time delivering on its scheduled promises. Thanks to the ongoing issues with the game, the developer has decided to spend more effort making the next series of updates impactful. In a post last week, the company announced that it’s next generation versions of the game, as well as the vaunted Kate Bishop/Hawkeye DLC, has been delayed. Kate was to make her appearance this month, but now that will remain a nebulous “slight delay.”

More damning is that the game won’t his Xbox Series and PS5 this year, instead heading to some point in 2021. Fans that purchase the current gen game will get the upgrade to the new consoles for free, so if you were worried about needing to double dip then fear not. You just may not know when that upgrade will take place.

Other improvements coming to the game include better rewards, multiplayer tweaks, and more, all detailed in the blog post.
