Deathloop delayed until September

Delayloop

At this point, we’ve become accustomed to the delays. While we had a few in 2020, this year is becoming much more difficult to hit those release days, as the pandemic’s forced shift in working environments is now cascading throughout industries.

The latest AAA release to hit the delay button is Bethesda & Arkane Lyon’s Deathloop, the upcoming time-looping stylish spy vs spy shooter.

The game was originally to be a launch title for the PS5, before being pushed into Q2 2021, and then getting a May 2021 date. Now, the game will be tentatively launching on September 14, 2021 for PS5 and PC. It will be exclusive to PlayStation and PC for 12 months, after which Bethesda’s owners, Microsoft, will bring the game to Game Pass and Xbox retail.
