The gods are even violent in 2D form
Warner Bros and DC have dropped the first trailer for Injustice, the animated take on the hit video game series. The film, which looks to be as violent and dark as the games and graphic novels it’s based on, stars the heroes and villains of the DC universe as Superman runs amok after the death of Lois Lane.
The Netherrealm Studios game takes the Mortal Kombat formula and adds it to comic books, creating a successful franchise across several platforms and generations of consoles. The cast includes Justin Hartley as Superman and Kevin Pollack as Joker.
Injustice will hit digital storefronts and DVD/Blu Ray on October 19th.
