Rockstar really wants you to forget about the GTA Trilogy asap
The next Grand Theft Auto game is in active development, Rockstar Games have confirmed. The news should not be a shock– GTA V and GTA Online have been going for almost 9 years now, spanning multiple console generations including the upcoming versions for PS5 and Xbox Series. A new game in the series was inevitable and a long time coming.
On its company blog today, the dev announced the news amid the announcement that the new gen versions of GTA V and GTA Online will launch on March 15 with several upgrades.
Now, don’t expect any more information any time soon; Rockstar takes its sweet time in developing its blockbuster games. But at least we now have the confirmation of the next GTA launching within the decade.
