NieR:Automata comes to Switch

The classic JRPG makes the jump to Nintendo’s console

On today’s Partner Direct Mini, Square Enix revealed that its great RPG NieR:Automata is finally coming to Nintend’s Switch. Owners of the platform have been pining for the game to make its way there for year — ever since it launched over 2017/2018, in fact — and will now finally be able to get their non-PlayStation, non-SteamDeck owning hands on the game. The End of YoRHa Edition brings all of the original version’s DLC alongside new costumes exclusive to the Switch.

Developed by PlatinumGames and published by Square Enix, Nier:Automata is creator Yoko Taro’s highly regarded sequel in the action RPG series. It sold fairly well on PlayStation, Xbox One and PC, and now the jump to Nintendo’s console should keep the robotic wheels turning when the game launches on October 6th.
