Pokémon Presents coming February 27th

Classic games teased for Pokémon Day 2023

The Pokémon Company has announced a Pokémon Presents for next week’s Pokémon Day. The video will debut on February 27th at 6AM PST/9AM EST on the Pokémon YouTube channel.

The video will last for roughly 20 minutes, and while nothing has been said outright we can see via the video tease that fans may be getting the return of a long-asked for group of games. The video uses music from the Game Boy’s Pokémon games, alongside red, blue, and yellow balloons (and red, green, and yellow balloons on the Japanese account), leading many to believe that the classic trio of games will arrive on the Nintendo Switch Online service in its new Game Boy section.

We MAY also see more classic games arrive, as Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2 are set to arrive this year at some point on the NSO’s N64 games selection and transfer may even be possible between the Game Boy and the N64 games.
