Sony hosting a PlayStation State of Play this week

Sony hosting a PlayStation State of Play this week

Expect the (mostly) expected with a lot of third party stuff

Sony has announced a State of Play event taking place this week — Thursday the 23rd!

The event will focus mostly on third party games, with the first half featuring updates on some of the most anticipated games coming to PlayStation as well as reveals of 5 new PSVR2 games. Then, the back half will be Suicide Squad heavy as 15 minutes will be spent on Rocksteady’s upcoming Kill the Justice League multiplayer game. The entire show will last for 45 minutes and feature 16 different titles.

It kicks off at 1PM Pacific / 4PMEastern / 9PM GMT on Twitch & YouTube.

It’s worth noting that the State of Play events tend to be smaller and focused on updates rather than huge reveals, and that rumors point to a bigger PlayStation Showcase taking place later this Spring around or before E3 time.
