Mario’s nemeses get their day to shine
Happy MAR10 Day! LEGO took the day to showcase some new upcoming Mario-related sets for its popular line, focusing on two of the hero’s long time nemeses (friendeses?).
Up first is Dry Bowser’s Castle, a take on the huge Bowser Castle that focuses on the undead, bone-Bowser. It includes a secret passage and a gym, because hell yeah Bowser likes to WORK OUT.
The set arrives August 1st and will be available to preorder soon at LEGO’s website.
Also on the way is Donkey Kong in a rideable form. Yes, he’ll be carrying Mario in a basket on his back, and though it wasn’t explicitly shown we can imagine some Donkey Kong Country sets may be on the way as well. That set will arrive in the Summer.
