At Final Fantasy FanFest in Japan, Square-Enix announced a job class coming to Dawntrail that was first used by Final Fantasy VI character Relm Arrowny; the Pictomancer will make its return to the Final Fantasy universe.
Some key notes about this next job:
- Role: Magical Ranged DPS
- Weapon: Brush
- Required Class: None
- Starting Level: 80
- Starting Location: Gridania
- Works in the medium of mixed Aether wielding a specialized brush to render their imagining reality
- These creations include not only creatures and weapons but landscapes as well
- As evoking such wonder takes time the Pictomancer also keeps instant cast abilities and spells at the ready
Krile Baldesion, a Scions of the Seventh Dawn member, will be a Pictomancer in Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail.
To say I’m excited for this expansion is a massive understatement.
Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2024.
