Invincible makes its way back into fighting games with Invincible VS

Invincible vs everybody in this 3v3 tag fighter

Invincible is one of Amazin Prime’s most popular shows, depicting what would happen if super heroes had to deal with the ramifications of growing up and also taking on aliens. Based on the Image comics the show is brutal and highly relevant, and features a stellar cast of characters.

There have already been a few Invincible-based gaming ventures, including Omni Man appearing in Mortal Kombat 1, but Skybound is dipping back into the extensive well. Announced during Xbox’s showcase, the publisher is developing a 3v3 tag fighter, Invincible VS, through its new Quarter Up team made of former Killer Instinct devs.

VS will be set in the universe of the TV series and looks to be just as brutal as the show. It’s aiming to please the fighting community, too, based on the dev team behind it. So far only 6 characters have been revealed with more on the way as the game gets closer to release in 2026.

It’s currently set to arrive on Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
