The next Call of Duty after Black Ops 6 is… Black Ops 7

A direct Call of Duty sequel so soon? In THIS economy?

It’s a new year, which means a new Call of Duty is on the horizon. Last year, fresh off of its purchase of Activision Blizzard, Microsoft used the additional time in its showcase to extensively present Call of Duty Black Ops 6. This year it relegated the series to a trailer tease.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7‘s debut trailer presents a near future timeframe for the game, with corporate defense technology running rampant and Milo Ventimiglia the only person who can save us from it. Set 40 years after Black Ops 6 the game is a sequel to the events there and in Black Ops 2, so if you’re having trouble keeping up just know that some real shit went down and tech is going crazy.

Microsoft is calling this game the most mind-bending yet in the series. More infor and a full reveal will take place later this Summer.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6, developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, is scheduled to arrive this year for PlayStation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Game Pass and PC.
