Woody, Buzz, and that dog thing are back in classic glory!
Atari and Digital Eclipse just sent our glued on heads spinning by announcing their next great collection: TOY STORY: RETRO ROUNDUP!
The collection will bring 1995’s Toy Story, 1999’s Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue!, 2000’s Buzz Lightyear of Star Command and 2001’s Toy Story Racer, as well as the addition of a Bug’s Life game. The collections spans SNES, PlayStation, Game Boy and “other platforms” (whatever that means!) as well as the typical awesome extras that the DE team is known for. We’re looking forward to video features, rewind, cheat codes, artwork and more.
Not ONLY are they bringing the game collection to the masses, but they’re also remastering Toy Story 3! The PS3 game was beloved for the the Toy Box mode, which is sort of a “mess with the world” creator mode that let people kind of go wild. The new game will get resolutions up to 4K and 60 fps.
Both the Retro Roundup! and the Toy Story 3 remaster arrive on October 15th, the anniversary of the series, separately as downloads as well as together in one physical package.
