Don’t hold your breath for a cheap PC though
It seems like it’s been forever since Valve revealed its new collection of hardware, and we’d essentially lost all hope that it would release any time soon. Valve doesn’t want us to fret, though, as the company has announced that it still plans to ship the platform (and the Steam Frame VR headset) this “Summer”.
That’s a long time. Summer can be forever (I wish it was longer) and product manufacturers don’t always stick to their exact timing plans, but having this window is at least something to look forward to. IN a blog post about the Verified program expanding to the devices, it noted the plans to release in the Northern Hemisphere’s warm season.
It’s just… whew, that price is probably not going to be pretty. I guess start accelerating you savings into your bank account in preparation?
