Telltale Games has been on a roll over the last few years, with some mostly amazing projects. Since they’ve become the sort of go-to studio for making comic book based games these days, it was a great surprise to see the next property they were tackling to be be Guardians of the Galaxy.
Well, now we have an actual date for the game and a snazzy trailer to go along with it! Just in time for the movie sequel in May, the game series will launch in April with the first of five episodes. The game will focus on the heroes as they come across a powerful relic, desired by an equally powerful being. Because the original film did so well to integrate music, the game’s soundtrack will also be an important part.
Expect the series to kick off on April 18th on PC, Mac, Steam, App Store, Google Play, PS4 and Xbox One, with retail versions on May 2.
