The classic series makes a comeback with a new perspective
Medal of Honor was a popular PC series that eventually made its way onto consoles. It put developer Infinity Ward on the map, eventually leading it to develop the Call of Duty series. The founders of Infinity Ward left, creating Respawn Entertainment soon after. Now, the ouroboros is complete, as Respawn are producing a new Medal of Honor game.
Above and Beyond is being developed for VR — for Oculus, specifically. It will once again be an FPS, and will take place during World War II, the hot new locale for games. A&B will feature both an extensive single player mode and multiplayer, so that if you really want to experience an FPS in VR you’ll have every option possible.
