Ubisoft delays its upcoming slate of big games

Ubisoft has shifted its schedule quite a bit

The giant developer has delayed a lot of its biggest games out of early 2020. The company states that due to “A sharp downward revision in the revenues expected from Ghost Recon Breakpoint® and, to a lesser extent, The Division® 2″ there needed to be some changes. Monetary returns from the games have not been up to Ubi’s standards

Gods & Monsters, Watch_Dogs Legion, and Rainbow Six: Quarantine will now all be bumped out of the first quarter timeframe and into the general “Fiscal 2020-2021” schedule, which runs from around April 2020-March 2021. According to the publisher, the delays are also to help develop the products to the highest quality.

There is no word on any other projects filling the now growing void of game releases.
