Upcoming game from Focus Home lets us take on fellow rogues to build our rep
I don’t know how merry Robin Hood’s band of thieves was back in the olden days, but we likely won’t find out in the new project from Focus Home and Sumo Digital. Hood: Outlaws & Legends puts players in the, uh, hood(?) of the infamous group as they take on the forces of power.
The game is billed as PvPvE, so expect that you’re not only fighting each other but also the hordes of corrupt guards that patrol the land. Teams will do their best to take on heists as they clash with rivals, building up their reputation and spoils.
It seems like a unique take on the era, as we’re usually accustomed to throwing on the Robin Hood ourselves and solving some very typical and straightforward plot. In Hood, it seems like we’ll be working our way up during a lawless time, with plenty of enemies (human and AI) to manage along the way.
Hood: Outlaws & Legends arrives for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox SEX in 2021.
